Rundle Park Paddling Centre
Rundle park has a series of 7 interconnected ponds. We have two dedicated ponds just for kayaking. One pond has n adaptive launch setup, and slalom gates, making it a perfect place to learn and practice skills or for an evening paddle ( 1km loop). The second pond has a semi-permanent polo nets installed in the Spring every year.
All our activities start at the Rundle Paddling Centre. This facility is run by the Edmonton Paddling Centre, and is used by multiple clubs in Edmonton.
LOCATIONS
Kinsmen Sports Centre
Having on deck storage annd access to three pools (one Olympic sized), allows EWP to offer programs year round.
Starting in the late Fall, we switch all operations to indoor facilities in Kinsmen Sports Center.
You’ll find a variety of kayaking programs running through the Winter:

- Introductory Kayaking Lessons
- Bracing and Rolling Lessons
- Open Paddling Times
- canoe Polo
This is where our Canoe Polo teams train, from beginners all the way up to several members of our Canadian national teams.
LOCATIONS
EWP Clubhouse
Having a clubhouse located next to the river, gives EWP the perfect location to run river trips, and river based kayak activities,
Our clubhouse is located in Buena Vista Park near the Edmonton Rowing Club off 129 St around 87 Ave, near the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Public parking is available, but you must walk to the clubhouse unless special arrangements are made.

Trips
