Youth Kayaking (Ages 11–16)
Give your teen an introduction to kayaking—an engaging program that builds on-water confidence, technical skill, and a strong foundation in safety. The Youth Kayaking Intro Program combines structured instruction with active practice, creating a positive and motivating environment for youth who are ready to learn and take on a new challenge.
Participants begin with essential safety training, including what to do in the event of a capsize. From there, instructors teach core paddling strokes, boat control, balance, and efficient maneuvering through progressive coaching, skill-focused drills, and supervised games designed to reinforce technique.
